Council of Europe Childcare Centre: Who we are

The Council of Europe Childcare Centre is located in Strasbourg within the very premises of the Council of Europe. It is open from Monday to Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

It welcomes daily 50 children whose parents are Council of Europe staff (35 places), the other 15 places are reserved for residents of Strasbourg and staff of the European Parliament.

Children aged 10 weeks to 3 years are divided into four groups. Non-walking children are welcomed in the group for small children, this group has 15 places. Three groups of 12 places each welcome walking children of all ages.

The structure is managed by AGES. AGES is a non-profit association that manages around twenty establishments in Strasbourg and its outskirts.

On a daily basis, a multi-professional team welcomes children with respect and kindness.

The team is made up of a childcare nurse (Director of the establishment), an educator of young children and 11 childcare workers, all qualified in early childhood.

A cook prepares meals and snacks daily. A logistics team ensures the cleaning of the premises and the laundry.
